Week of 9/14/09
My lesson plans have been updated in the Events Calendar (on the right). I am almost done attaching all packets and worksheets from this week in the handouts tab above. I also added a Resource page. This allows you to see what we are doing in Resource. These handouts can also be found on the Handouts page! The Writer’s Response 1 is also in the handouts. Any questions please let me know.
NOTE: Sorry for the repeated ThinkWave e-mails! I had an issue testing the e-mail addresses!
Surveys and 5 Finger Rule
This week students will be completing Reading and Writing Surveys. Students will also be learning and applying the 5 Finger Rule to choose books. Starting Thursday students will begin having 20 minutes of reading for homework per night. Please check the calendar for detailed lesson plans. The surveys and 5 Finger Rule handouts are posted under the Handout tab at the top of this site. I also began reading Tuck Everlasting by Natalie Babbitt this week. If there are any questions please e-mail me. Have a great week!
