Monday 2.27.12

Mr. Corbett’s 2nd and 3rd period classes were NOT at the library.  All students in these two classes began their persuasive business letter (based on their persuasive paper).  Their draft must be completed and checked by me BEFORE Thursday’s class.  There were 3 handouts given Business Letter Rubric, Business Letter Graphic Organizer, and Business Letter Format (all are uploaded).  Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.  Have a safe and happy week!

There will be no reading conferences these two weeks.  Students were given their Persuasive Presentation Packets today.  There is a tab at the top of this website listing when students are presenting (also hanging outside my classroom door).  If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know!!

Week of 2.13.12-2.16.12

We will not have reading conferences this week (2/13/12-2/16/12).  Next week (2/21/12-2/24/12) students are responsible for reading 140 pages, 1 Word Study, 1 Personal Spelling List, and their Reading Record.
